What matters this week?

A little time for the people and things you care about.

A walk with family after dinner

Pick an evening together. Just a walk is enough.

Stopped by that little café. Stayed for a while.

01Choose, keep a moment, and look back.

What do you want to make time for?

Dinner with family. A few pages of a book. A proper rest. Choose a few things to give time to this week. Other things can wait.

01

Choose what matters

Consider who and what you want to give time to this week. Choose a few things and a small next step, with room for rest and the unexpected.

A walk with family, on an evening that works for everyone.
02

Keep a moment

A sentence, an emoji, or a journal entry can hold something you want to remember. There is no need to write every day or fill every blank.

Took the long way home. Sat for a while.
03

Look back at your choices

Look back over the week. Did your time go to the people and things you care about? Would you like to do something differently next week? Blank days can stay blank.

02Step back. See time differently.

03A few things to know

Before you begin

Why four thousand weeks?

Four thousand weeks is roughly 77 years: a reminder that our time is limited. We hope it helps you notice your choices and make time for the people and things you care about. The life calendar is not a lifespan prediction and continues beyond 4,000 weeks.

Do I have to write every day?

No. Keep an emoji, a sentence, or a longer entry when you feel like it. Days without a record can stay blank.

What can I use now?

The life calendar on this website is available without an account. Add your birthday to see the full weeks you have lived and your current week of life. Journaling and weekly reflections are being prepared for a WeChat Mini Program. The product screens shown here are examples.

Is my birthday saved or made public?

No. Your birthday is used only in this browser to calculate your weeks. It is not uploaded or written to storage by this site, and you can clear it at any time. The journaling mini program is not open yet and will have its own privacy policy at launch.
